LOL moment of the day.

Me:
Hey, do you want to meet [ex-boyfriend's name here] when we visit L.A. next month?
Don:
*no hesitation* No.
Me:
*laughs*
Don:
*silence*
Me:
...Wait, really?

Shoutouts to Bryan and Jennifer for the Lakers snuggie they gave me last Christmas. It’s coming in pretty handy for this sick day.

Let’s have a croissant in a cul de sac. Let’s have a rendezvous.

Can we crawl around on our carpets to survey the paltry damage…without some Californian standing smugly in the doorframe like they learned in grade school, chewing on a PowerBar from the earthquake preparedness kit they carry around in a Lakers fanny pack at all times?

Californians Are Being Insufferable About This Earthquake

LOL at the above quote. 5.9 = not too big a deal…in L.A. But really, due to the lack of earthquake-proofed buildings (and proliferation of old, brick ones) and the fact that several friends first thought the tremors were due to some sort of attack, I’m officially more scared of D.C. earthquakes than L.A. ones.

Jesus Christ. These are some detailed, close-up photos of the damage. And there are cracks in walls and the whole bit. Poor monument.

The National Cathedral is one of my favorite spots in D.C. This makes me sad.
