Shoutouts to Bryan and Jennifer for the Lakers snuggie they gave me last Christmas. It’s coming in pretty handy for this sick day.
Californians Are Being Insufferable About This Earthquake
LOL at the above quote. 5.9 = not too big a deal…in L.A. But really, due to the lack of earthquake-proofed buildings (and proliferation of old, brick ones) and the fact that several friends first thought the tremors were due to some sort of attack, I’m officially more scared of D.C. earthquakes than L.A. ones.

Jesus Christ. These are some detailed, close-up photos of the damage. And there are cracks in walls and the whole bit. Poor monument.
The National Cathedral is one of my favorite spots in D.C. This makes me sad.

Tomorrow’s show will be its last. Here is the official statement from the network,
“TBS has reached the difficult decision not to order a third season of Lopez Tonight. Thursday will be the final episode of the show. We are proud to have partnered with George Lopez, who is an immensely talented comedian and entertainer. TBS has valued its partnership with George and appreciates all of his work on behalf of the network, both on and off the air.”
That’s a super sudden cancellation if ever I’ve seen one. Guess the show wasn’t bringing in enough revenue to support its continuation.
For the record, while I rarely watched Lopez Tonight, he was certainly putting a unique spin on the talk show format and should not be written off. That said, I believe this a clear result of the over saturation of these types of programs.
Oh snap. I wonder what Coco thinks about this.
